herbaceous almost minty, black and red berry and black pepper spice, slight chocolate hints, touches of cream In the mouth the wine has flavours of juicy but ripe black and red berry backed by pepper, the herbaceous notes are far more muted here and there is a medium plus intensity leathery tannic grip on the long finish with the fruit coming along for the ride. Nice but needs a lot of time.

Surprisingly mellowed down, lots of black fruit, cedar, cassis and smoke. A great shiraz from YY

New French Oak component evident.
Aromas lead with oak note, dark berries developing with additional air
Texture has creaminess from the oak, well developed tannins to provide a firm structure. Fruit needs air to develop. No pepper evident at this point
Needs time or a lot of decanting if you want to drink soon
