Medium yellow color. Notes of petrol, white peach, jasmine and pear with a hint of warm spice in the background. Honey, peach, lime and mineral on the palate. Well-balanced; delightful. A steal at $15 on bin end, and a nice value at full price ($28).

From 75cl screwcap. Another basically good Alsace Riesling which just needed to be declared as a medium-sweet product, in other words not a table wine as most of the world knows, but a wine reminiscent of the days before the German trocken revoloution. From now on, I will restrict my Alsace purchases to Trimbach, Beyer and possibly Hugel. Of course there must be properly dry wines from other producers, but until there is some way of telling from the label, I refuse to spend 18 EUR/75cl for a wine which could be anything from super dry to tooth-rottingly sweet. 86P(?)

A hint of petrol along with crab apple and stone fruit notes. Picks up a nice mineral element on the palate.

Lovely drop. Good balance of acid and sweetness which paired well with a couple of rich cheeses.
