Lazy Hunter Valley Trip Day 2 (Hunter Valley): Red cherry, toasted oak, vanilla and slight spice with slight funky farmyards but the whole thing is very low intensity on the nose. On the palate the wine has flavours of juicy red cherry then chewy but fine textured tannin. The fruit persists past the tannin but drops quite quickly. A touch short for me but otherwise nice.

Cherry, berry heaven. Bold taste, slightly strong tannins for my taste.
