At this stage, this wine was a fruit bomb, especially in comparison to the SQ&N, which we consumed first. That said, I put it on the kids' table and Harris, Simon, Henry, Ian, Rachel, Adie & Cate happy consumed the entire bottle, so there is that. I would drink up if you have any of this in your cellar. It is time. No real tannins left in the wine. Just fruit, and a rather light fruit at that. Merry Christmas Eve!!

RRV and Napa Visit; 7/7/2014-8/30/2014 (Napa and Sonoma): 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc. 80% new French oak Lee loves the right bank more than the left bank, and thankfully the soils he has on the state are keyed into this mentality. this shows a riper, more toned up fruit than the Pick Up Sticks expresses. ‘Aromatics and texture.’ Full red and black fruit aromas, suave fruit on the palate. A meaty note. Medium/- tannin, glorious texture given the modest tannin. 14.5% ABV, and a medium/+ body.
