  Nice tasty cab. Nothing special but a solid bottle

  I was excited to taste this but when I actually did, I was disappointed. There's a healthy dose of syrah here, which butts in and overwhelms the cabernet sauvignon. It creates a very ripe tasting, yet jaggedly textured wine. Maybe age will sort it out but right now this just wasn't very good, especially compared to other wines from this producer.
