  This has come along nicely. 75% whole cluster. A bit step up from the 08 Faury St. J alongside, this was really in the sweet spot with a cleaner presentation. Nice wild berry fruits, savory stems and a long finish. Great wine.

  Savory bordering on animalistic. Better with the right food pairing than on it's own as a sipper. "Right food pairing" would include either pork or lamb with a herbal prep. Not sure how to rate this one, because you have to be in the mood for what it offers (and I wasn't). 90+ with an open mind. At some point I'll actually learn to read my prior reviews before randomly popping a bottle.

  Pretty consistent with my prior bottle from a year ago. A fine, mid-weight, but rather one dimensional northern Rhône Syrah. Certainly a nice daily drinker for the price, but not more than that.
