  Citrus and gooseberry notes on the nose. The gooseberry flavor continues on the palate, supported by a well balanced acidity and some sweeter berry flavors. But - as has been mentioned elsewhere - no grassiness. Light body, medium finish again emphasizing the more tropical flavors.
  On a separate note, this SB is a bit of a departure from the traditional Californian approach. But based on a recent tasting, the 2014 will be even more so. New Zealand is clearly having an impact-tropics ahoy!

  Light to moderate flavor and body. Dry with a surprisingly longer lasting finish. Pleasant.

  Nicely clean aromatics; crisp/mouthwatering flavors of citrus & tropical fruits with just a touch of gooseberry. Excellent price/quality ratio!
