Burgundy color with a bouquet and flavor of strawberries, black cherries, dry brown sugar, and dilute allspice. Medium body with a restrained intensity, typical of Flowers Pinot Noirs. Good balance with a moderate finish. Pleasant wine and showing no signs of age. It is very interesting comparing Pinot Noirs across California and Oregon. They are quite different. It would be fun to try to sort out the nuances and differences in a multiple tasting of Aubert, Arista, Bevan, Brewer-Clifton, Flowers, Kosta Browne, Marcassin, Martinelli, Beaux Freres, and Domaine Serene wines, to name a few. There would clearly be a need for a designated driver or a call to Uber. There is also the downside to any multiple tasting-- palate fatigue and rising blood alcohol, unless you are an accomplished swisher and spitter, which I am not.

An elegant, Sonoma Coast pinot noir showing abundant fruit, supple tannins and an attractive, coastal salinity. Lght-bodied and delicate, with a palette of strawberry preserves, black cherries, and cola. This is a delicious wine.

Restrained black cherry and strawberry fruit, showing nice resolution at seven years. Sleek, saline quality with a medium, elegant finish.
