  • Very nice, mostly dry Riesling. White fruit and floral bouquet with traces of quince and honey. Mineral characteristics on the palate, along with the fruit and floral notes. Just enough acidity to provide balance to the honeyed notes. Mostly dry, but not bone dry. Paired well enough with weiner schnitzel, spätzl & braised red cabbage, especially playing off the sweet, floral notes of the red cabbage. Without the braised cabbage, I'd have preferred a chablis or still more dry Riesling with this dish.
