Medium red with a distinct brown hue. Strong nose of Strawberry, barnyard, balasamic, brown sugar. Silky feel, oak appears on the palate, in addition to strawberry athere are attractive savoury and herb elements. Slight tang of bitterness, but tannin is resolved resulting in this feeling a little padded. Quite ready and very enjoyable

Medium red, brick then clear edge. Red berries, fresh Pinot fruit, damp clay, balsam. Quite expressive. Lively, bright red fruit and sous bois. Well balanced, medium length finish. An elegant, clean expression of Pinot noir and Burgundy.

Barely medium red, mahoganey edge. Red cherries, forest floor, caramel. initial impression on the palate is soft red fruit, barrel then forest floor. Round, has a prescence but not hard or sharp in the least. Good for the vintage.

Trip to Burgundy; 3/20/2006-3/24/2006 (Burgundy): Tasting, brief note. My favorite of the three Corton Grand Cru cuvees. Black fruit with roasted meat aromas and flavors. Firm structure that is elegant, not rustic. Good+ for its level.

Tawny edge. Lovely perfume including strawberry, spice and cocoa. Velvety with lovely baking spice on the finish.
