Popped and poured shortly before a quiet Christmas supper at home. Mature golden yellow color. Pear, fig, melon and quince aromas. Hints of mineral/stone underneath. Medium-bodied, with flavors of lemon curd, orchard fruit, mineral and fig with a long finish. Hints of mineral in the finish. So well balanced. Youthfully mature, meaning this is on this side of its plateau. Beautiful now through 2023 I would think, perhaps 2025, before it starts to gently tail off.
We enjoyed tonight as an apertif and again after dinner, but this would do beautifully at the table. Our last bottle, unfortunately.

Popped and poured, not too cold, following the Stefania. Youthful color with notes of lemon curd and apple. Medium-bodied and nicely textured, this flows across the palate with good weight and balance. Flavors of pear and quince with just a hint of tangerine. Finishes with good length. Paired quite nicely with the range of flavors in our Thanksgiving supper.

Lemon, mineral and apple notes. Bright acidity with orchard fruit, stone and citrus flavors. Long finish. Excellent. Another fantastic SCM chardonnay.
