As with that moment when the orchestra so perfectly blends together, this Villages lieu dit from a fairly obscure vintner produced a rich, sensual small sonata of pure current drinking pleasure. Not a Jayer for sure, and a tiny bit fruit forward,, but just a simply delicious, slightly sweet, black-cherry – driven core, with that Gevrey Sauvage ,dark, rich, worn medieval tapestry sense and a nose of pure dark cherry that never dissipated.

Light bodied and smooth and silky. We had it with cheese and meat appetizers. Excellent now or hold a few more years.
