The wine has medium acidity. It smells like red currant and forest floor. The body is medium. The wine finishes medium. It tastes like red currant and black pepper. The wine has leathery texture.

Agree with the previous taster that this is not like an easy drinking Rioja tempranillo, but has a more reserved style: subdued fruit and less american oak influence (vanilla). The wine seemed slightly closed, I wonder if 1-2 extra years in the cellar might help develop this one further and also add some smoothness, but good to drink now, preferably with some food.

Nog mooi donkerrood, vooral rijpe braam. Mooi vol, ook iets kruidig.
Krachtig genoeg voor bij de varkenswangetjes. Prima wijntje, goede P/Q

Thick, dark, brooding Tempranillo, almost inky. Completely unlike a Rioja style, as seems to be normal for Ribera Del Duero Tempranillos.
