  Exciting new world neb. Drank over two days. Day one gave a traditional classic Nebbiolo undertone but with a very fruity taste to it. I actually had to check if it was a Zinfandel that I was drinking. Seccond day had much classier Nebbiolo taste to it. Lovely new world nebbiolo. I’ll try to get more of these for my cellar!

  Perfect pairing to braised oxtail ragu. Interestingly, utilized entire bottle 2009 Turley Ueberroth zin as the braising liquid since we find older Turleys unpleasant to undrinkable.

  Min litt stive nakke strammer seg litt til. Nebbiolo fra Santa Maria Valley – California – USA? Skeptisk! Denne vinen er gjæret på åpne fat rundt 40 dager og er lagret på nøytrale 500 liters fat i 60 måneder. Noe høy alkoholprosent, nesten 15%.
  
  Vinen åpner faktisk med et relativt preg av nebbiolo den – røde, litt parfymerte bær, fin floral og med noen urter på nese.
  
  Middels konsentrasjon, og mangler kanskje den lille dybden som en finner i Piemonte. Men vinen har fine elegante bringebær, kirsebær, og lær på en lett utgang. Igjen en friskere utgave av en tradisjonell italiensk nebbiolo dette, og den kjører seg faktisk ikke fast.
  
  Morsomt. Bør prøves. Kan fungere fint til både lam og for eksempel kalv. Noe enklere viltretter kan også gå.
