  Decanted for a couple of hours, cork disintegrated, good colour still, well integrated & balanced, black fruits, vanilla & chocolate. Med finish & acidity. Outperformed expectations for the year

  Last drank this back in ‘08. Give it a solid hour or more of airtime before you serve it. Great structure even for 20 yrs in the bottle. I can see this going well with many dishes. Definitely a food wine. One bottle left of the ‘03, will probably finish it over the holidays.

  Nothing to add to my 2019 note - still holding up surprisingly well given the vintage. Very tasty with a rare ribeye.
