Drinking nicely. A nice balance between primary fruit and some bottle development. The palate has softened out with some raspberry liquorice notes, dried herbs and nice spice. A touch of drying tannin lingers on the finish. Overall, very enjoyable.

The wine is clear and bright with a medium ruby colour.
The nose is clean and developing, showing pronounced intensity aromas of vanilla, chocolate, ripe plums, dark cherries, truffles, black olives, cedar and hinst of clove.
It is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has medium+ tannins with a velvety texture and a high warm alcohol. It has a medium+ body and medium+ intensity flavours with a long finish.
It is a very good quality wine. It displays a great complexity provided by oak and bottle ageing with a beautiful balance between the different aromas. It lingers in the mouth and it has a decent fruit concentration, however not enough to balance the alcohol, it is a bit hollow in the mouth.

Attractive spicy dark fruit and tar spice with a red berry edge. Medium to light weight palate. Bright fruits, earthy spice, a dark edge. Refined style finishing clean and crisp.

Very promising nose, with rich fruit and powerful vanilla-oak. Notes of rhubarb, raspberry, cola, vanilla fudge, and black pepper. Palate matches the nose, with powerful red-fruit flavours of rhubarb and raspberry complemented by sweet vanilla, star anise, and preserved violet. Seems to have very strong alcohol, which fits in nicely with the strong flavour.
