(50% Pinot Noir, 5% Meunière and 45% Chardonnay) Sadly no bubbles left as this most likely hasn’t been perfectly store all its life. Lovely mature nose burnt sugar, caramel, coffee and red berries in a very pleasant way. Missing some flower notes that I think would have emerged if there where bubbles left. Fresh palate with maturing notes of burnt sugar, red apples and a creamy mid, before the nice and distinct cherry stone and bitter almonds lengthy finish. Despite not having any bubbles this was still very fresh and light with a butter creamy feeling on the palate and matched the grilled lemon marinated anglerfish perfectly tonight. I wonder how good a well kept bottle could taste!

Around the world with Copenhagen Tasting Group (Jesper's Place): Brown salmon color. Oxidized nose with paint flakes, orange peel, rust and metal. Seems a bit tired on the nose, but the taste surprises by being much more alive. Especially the acidity is lifting the taste, making it appear fresh and elegant. Tastes of mature brown apples, red soda pop and brown sugar. Appears sweet over the whole palate.
