  Oh man this is so good. Interesting bright ruby color. Wow, the aromas: tart red currants, wild strawberry bushes, bacon fat, wild herbs, mushroom, sage and beef drippings - I love it! On the palate, precise, zesty acidity keeps this so lively but medium-bodied, along with medium tannins that still provide plenty of structure. Tart red cherries, strawberries, cranberries, tangy and alive but the mouthfeel is silky. Smoky, beef, black pepper, roasted red peppers, tobacco, roses, spiced black tea, this is complex and elegant with a smoky, mineral-encrusted finish. Long time ahead still but this is quite nice now, even more savory and expressive on day two. Nero and Frappato.
