Coffee, dark fruit, graphite and herbs. It's light in feel but possesses richness in flavor along with a real sense of vibrancy that extends through the finish. Amazing from first sip to last.

Good balance on this wine. 14.6% ABV. Blackberry and cherry fruit up front with a fair dollop of oak and earthiness on the back end. Good balance between sugar, acid and oak. This was a crowd pleaser at dinner. Seems like it is just entering its drinking window.

Drink by 2020 in my cellar; 3/1/2020-7/8/2020: Followed over three nights: Soon settled in to a nice fruit/acid/tannin balance; then became better each night (VV, no chill). All that I could want from a Red Bordeaux Blend at this price range. Drink or hold.

This is both highly approachable and very serviceable: there is nothing not to like in this well balanced blend. A very good QPR as well. Recommended. May not improve, but should hold at this level for a couple of years.

Just a slight bitterness at the back end. Time to drink up.
