Very nice low priced wine. Had a glass at a local French Restaurant and was more than pleasantly surprised. Med+ to full bodied and low in acid it tasted a bit fat at first, but really came alive over a little time. Was a wonderful pairing with Chicken, Root Vegetables and a lavender honey glaze. Was dry, but had a faint honey nose to it and was very floral. The aging Sur Lie and I read it was fermented in barrel makes sense because of the body. I would be surprised if it had any new oak because I got none of the signs, but a nice wine for sure.
