Same as my prior notes. My last bottle. Nothing that I'll miss. It was served alongside a 2012 Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast Pinot. Both wines were just "Meh." Boring and forgettable.

Similar to my previous CT notes on this wine specific to flavor profile. However, I dropped this down to a 90-91, I am admittedly a little unsure if time will actually help this wine. I initially recommended giving this wine some time, but I'm not so sure this has the fruit or the acidic spine to carry it for any real length of time.
Initial PnP was fine, but time in the glass caused it to waffle. After two hours in the glass, it lost strength on the mid-palate, and faded on the finish. Barely a 91 this time. Drink now to capitalize on what energy this wine has, or roll the dice by holding short term.

A medium-bodied wine (but the deepest and richest Pinot Noir in EK's range when compared to the 2012 Small Town and 2012 Sascha Marie). Notes of dark red fruits, spice, and subtle soil.
Maybe time will help this wine and push it further into complexity, but an hour in the decanter seemed to shut it down a bit. A very good wine; the only issue with this wine was that it was drunk alongside a 2012 Wren Hop Daughters of Earth, which carried more interest for me in terms of layered, rich, explosive fruit and multiple baking spice notes.
92+ at this point for the 2012 EK Stiling.

Same as my notes on 12/3/2015. Drink now and over the next year or so. An ok Pinot, but nothing memorable.
