Clean and almost crisp, this modern style Chardonnay is drinking well now but (to my pallet) lacks enough fruit to cellar for any meaningful time.
It is well balanced with the perfect amount of acid to play off the Chardonnay. It is a quality drop, but at $50 (and as nice as it is) it is too much money in my opinion.

TWE Portfolio Tasting (Prince Wine Store, Sydney): Pear, peach and lime. Palate is soft and the roundness of the fruit makes it feel a bit too one dimensional. Don't think this has the structure or acidity to age well over the longer term.

Peter Bourne GWT Tasitng Chardonnay (8 Danks street, Sydney): Indian spice; almost crushed coriander seed, slight stone fruit - a sweet spiced peach note and notes of orange and orange blossom on the nose. In the mouth the wine is juicy and fresh initially then sizable spice and muted fruit. Plentiful front of mouth grip and it's a bit warm on the finish though it does carry long. Hmm. Interesting.

Screwcap, 13% alc. Youthful light straw colour.
Grilled nuts, matchstick, lemon, peach, and blooming flower.
Rather rounded on the palate, culminating in a nutty, peach finish of reasonable length. Fine acid is a standout.
Opinion: Not particularly developed however drinking well. Drink over next 7 years.

Treasury Wine Estate Premium Wine Expo (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Sweet spice, toast, cream, butter, slight cedar notes, peach over citrus…juicy, peach over citrus, slight tannic burr, fruit a little short though.
