Tart cherry fruit in the mouth with light aromatics. This wine really held up as compared with the 01 and 02. The fruit is fading so drink them up if you have any.

I've probably tasted from at least 2 dozen bottles of 2003 Anomaly over the past 6 years, as it had been one of my all-time favorite Napa wines. Unfortunately, the 2003 has started to fade and has lost a fair amount of the fruit and velvety texture I loved. Still very nice, but I would have given it 95 points a year ago.

Like all the other vintages I own, this bottle as well is showing age in the mouth. Roasted fruit flavors are present. Though, the wine drinks well while a bit cold from the cellar to help mask the age. Drink them up! EG #WineArchitect #Anomaly

The fruit came flying out of the bottle as soon as I pulled the cork on this one, with black plum surrounded by a cloak of toasty oak. Very deep and dark purple color, showing. Just the slightest signs of age. On the attack, luscious fruit fills the mouth, again led by the black plums, closely followed by black cherries, with just a hint of cassis rounding it out. Tannins, while firm, are velvety and finely integrated. Lingers on the finish, with a tad bit of sourness, in a good way, rounding it all out. Yummy. Drink up.

Drink them if you got them. Out of a properly stored 1.5L . Soft and relaxed with a very nice finish
