Nice deep red color with a crushed berries on the nose. Very smooth and elegant. It's always nice to turn to Burgandy after having a lot of different California Pinot Noir wines. The California Pinots tend to be quite over the top in almost every aspect in comparison to good Burgandy.

In its prime: if anything, better than when my previous experience about three years ago. Sadly this was my last bottle.
