This wine fooled me a bit. Too light for a zin, and seemed too light for a syrah, I wondered if this was one of those California Pinot Noir/Syrah bombs. Not bad at all.

good balance and medium nose. Not as deep and rich as I was hoping for. Flavors of coffee, cassis and hints of leather & black berry. A good traditional Syrah but needs to be consumed now.

Aged well - spice and tar really came forward - with a dry finish

A full bodied, fruit forward wine. Strong raspberry and cherry flavors. Finish is a little short, but...New world and loving it.
