Nat cork. A purplish red with bright glints. A bit high toned bordering on hot with red, rhubarb notes and a bit of bramble on the nose. A big wine, bit alcoholic. Red fruit still present but tame. A chalky feel too. Hints of wood and tannin from the oak still present and surprisingly involved. Not a ton of complexity. Less pepper than might have expected too.

Really enjoyed were this wine evolved to- it is not the robust bright fruit wine it was upon release - it has now gone a little deeper in its profile towards the dark fruits- the mid range flavors go towards blackberry and some good tanin-
I think people who bought this due to the Yum factor on initial release may be turned off a little as this wine has gained complexity and given up its bright factor-Really enjoyed this and would have liked to have drunk on its own- but went great with our meal- Have more bottles to try and could see this hitting the 91 point area if it continues to evolve

(OLSON OGDEN UNTI SYRAH) NOSE-remarkable, tropical, skittles; TASTE-HUGE mouth feel, GREAT syrah, comes off Northern Rhone but then fruit comes through; complex; Great w/ STEAK; HUGE FAN; WS-93, GV-92

Medium bodied with dark fruits. Good length and minerality. Beautiful with grilled lamb chops.

Easily the best bottle yet. Brooding dark fruit. Long finish.

A bit chalky, but really good syrah. Went well with our dinner.
