Pretty typical in flavor for a Cote du Rhone, this one is also quite a value. You can tell this is from a warm and sunny, though very much an "Old World" terroir. It is quite ripe, but no where near flabby with some leesy richness and lots of non fruit secondary flavors. The nose and the palate have a sandalwood character. More red fruit than dark. Still young and tannic.
