Out of the bottle. Dark ruby/purple to the rim, very thin edge. Fruit forward, with notes of blackberry , washed stone, and black raspberry. Finish is barely medium with noticeable alcohol remnants on each breathe Recommended that this bottle is opened early to remove the heat

Inky purple in color with earth and flint on the nose. The huge legs on this cab warn of the high alcohol to come. There's raspberry, cranberry and black cherry on the palate with a long, warm finish with just a hint of tannin. Not bad for $25.

Deep purple color. Nose of Oak. Medium bodied with Oak, tobacco and plums. Well balanced, good structure with mild tannins. Would pair well with dinner but also a nice starter wine with appetizers. Good value for under $20.00.

Dark ruby/purple color. Nose: black cherry, blueberry, and blackberry with accents of tobacco, cedar, licorice root, clove, cola, black peppercorn, violets, old leather, and black tea. Medium/full body on the palate: blackberry, black plum, black cherry, and tart blueberry framed by tobacco, clove, cola, peppercorn, licorice root, vanilla, and crushed rock. Bright acidity. Moderate/firm tannins. Lingering blackberry skin, clove, peppercorn, tobacco, and crushed rock on the moderate/long finish. Zesty black & blue fruit and expressive earthy spice with old-world acid/tannin structure. Versatile dinner Cabernet. Pair with grilled sausages, pork belly dishes, grilled pork chops, marinated flank steak, or a wide variety of cheeses. Drink over the next 6-10 years.

Stephanie's Birthday (San Francisco): A bit oak-i-fied, dark fruit, with a hint of herbaceousness. On the palate - the fruit quality has a note of garbage-like dirtiness. On the palate, it's well-made, with softened tannins (medium minus), and decent balance. The structure is decent for a particular style of wine, but the fruit quality isn't there. I'm guessing $20-30. 7.5-8
