This bottle has evolved and may continue to improve. Wonderful big nose of mushroom, forest, a bit of leather and a bit of red fruit: fantastic! On the palate, plum and dark fruit, mushroom with very tame tannins underneath. Not supposed to be a great vintage but hard to tell from this bottle!

This is still quite good. Classic Bordeaux on the nose with red and black fruits on the nose, some cedar and a hint of green. Even after a few hours in the decanter this was still quite good. Great fruit, moderate drying tannins giving structure, and solid acidity, medium body. Very tasty, still mostly just primary fruit, I only got a little bit of tertiary notes of earth, leather, etc as well as some green from the cab franc. The only thing lacking was a slight hollowness on the midpalate. Overall a very nice wine and great at my original purchase price of $22 at Ravines several years back. This can hold for a few more years. I am unsure if it will make it to 2030.

Nice complexity. The Cab France has mellowed nicely and the flavors are all well integrated. Lots of red fruit on the nose and in the mouth. Tannins are softened.

Still drinking well. Rich black fruit combined with hints of leather and tobacco. Tannins fading but still present.
