Lanolin, lemon, honey. Gaining some weight and texture but still elegant. Served at room temp and tasted a bit sharp, so wants at least a light chill. In a pretty good place approaching 10yrs. Not sure it'll go 20 but should be very nice drinking between now and ~15.

Lemon coloured with greenish hints, medium(-) intensity. Developing, medium intensity nose with indefinable fruit with bitterness. On the palate dry, medium acidity, medium body. 12%. Cobweb texture. The same indefinable fruit as on the nose. Intensity. The touch of oak in aroma and flavour is just an imagination, only stainless steel here. Good length. 88p. Follows the wine over three months to find the characteristica of a Hunter-Valley Semillon. Have to wait until day 30 to find the chamomile and dried herb complexity. Soft. Superb texture. Now we are up to 90p. Day 37: Citrus added, grapefruit in the aftertaste. Cobweb texture. Day 51: Developed(+), medium intensity nose. Broad dark fruit, lady's bedstraw flowers, mud. Flavours of citrus, wormwood, hay. Very long aftertaste with grapefruit, hay, almonds. Austere. Day 91: Chamomile, fresh. Wax in taste, oily texture. Resistance. Delicious.

Quite developed, petrol. Very different from my memory of Tyrrell’s Belford of the same vintage.
Enjoy now.
12.5%, screwcap.

This is (again) a splendid, vibrant wine. Looks and feels like last year's vintage, at 8 years age.

Clean, balanced and straight forward. Good but nothing special. I would not keep this for a long time. A Great every day wine
