During PNV week, lunch at the vineyard with winemakers and vintners. Great day, really spectacular setting in Rutherford...
One of the better SBs we had during the week. Lemon grass, vanilla, brioche, marshmallow on the nose. Creamy mouthfeel, citrus, vanilla and minerals. Neutral oak gives this a nice crispness to it.
Paired with a beet salad (excellent), would work well with any lighter dishes or as an aperitif.

This is my favorite sauvignon blanc. A good balance between subtle oak and only hints of grass and grapefruit. Pairs fabulously with goat cheese.

Lots of oak. But it gives it lots of structure.

Great wine. Soft finish with hints of honey, citrus. Not grassy nor grapefruit.

So much more going on than most sauv blancs. Less of the grassy grapefruit and more honey and citrus. Great wine. A sauv blanc for Chardonnay fans?
