ruby in color, a raspberry jam and dark cherry aroma, tastes of raspberries, cherries, and blueberries definitely not overripe ones, very fruity with a slight tartness. quite tasty.

Bright, translucent ruby red in the glass, this is the color of Pinot. Cherry candy-coated rose petals dusted with dried orange zest, tinged with baking spice. Silky palate on both the tannin and acid front. This doesn't have the dark minerality I always got from the 2012, but it does have this note that suggests grapefruit pith (or a high toned pink and yellow floral thing...whatever floats your boat) that I found rather pretty. Drinkable and delicious without any of the discernible heat that almost always turns me off of CA Pinot. Well made and, quite simply, yummy...

This medium ruby Pinot offers nice ripe Central Coast fruit along with respectable structure. Raspberry, cherry, cola and baking spices are framed with fresh acidity, well-integrated alcohol (listed as 14.2%), light sweet tannins and modest oak. Solid in the middle and medium in length on the finish, this wine, while not particularly complex, is a definite crowd-pleaser. Enjoy it over the next three years. Drink now-2018.

Cherry, baking spice, pepper. Simple. Nice fruit, not a lot of oak. Full body, nice texture.
