  difficult to figure out, had it several times along the way in the last couple of years, used to be an all time favorite with loads of Truffle and nice fruit, the blend was perfect between acidic Sangiovese and tannic cab
  
  here the truffle shows quickly at the start then some tar, quite an interesting nose so far...
  
  Palate is soft and balanced, light acid with good length, an interesting wine, but lacks the "perfection" it had ... will left more time, but I m afraid it would drop to the dark side ... being a bot later later :)

  Somewhat reticent nose, but what's there is fairly straightforward dark/sour cherry and some earth. On the palate, a bit of Jolly Rancher cherry with a bit more acid than I prefer and tannic tingle. Perhaps this should lay down - and I will let it - but my guess is that though tannins may resolve and the wine will settle a bit I don't know if we'll see too much more complexity develop. So, see you again in 2020+...

  Beautiful garnet color. Nose of mint and dark red fruits. Dark cherries here with touches of cocoa. Nice tannins that open slightly. The dark fruits linger on the palate with medium acid. This is a long finish and a nice wine. I will certainly look for this again.
