Plucked from a tasting table at a Binnys session some years back - not part of the tasting but like secreted at the back. Definitely rewarded the investment: big and bold with layers of ripe fruit, spicy and grippy, yet smooth and palate coating, surprising sweetness in the fruit. Would buy again.

Two prior reviews in 2017, one of three bad bottles. This one was great. Really nice and smooth red Rhone blend, think we spent about $20. This is definitely ready to drink, and it is pop and pour status, doesn't get better than that. While smooth and elegant, not a wimpy wine, just might not stand up to something super spicy, would not pair with a dish with tomato sauce or BBQ, pizza, something a click lighter, maybe an amped up poultry or pork dish.

powerful, well refined tannin and a bit of earth, leather and mushroom.
