This wine performed very well. Drank with grilled tbone. I've had this several times in the last 18 months. This was the best bottle. Very good without food, great with the steak. Big and rich, nicely balanced and a surprisingly long finish. Drink up!

Dark red in the glass, nose is layered with maybe a bit of alcohol. Palate is smooth, not tasting any oak like other reviewers. Wine is smooth on the finish and well made. Tannins are in play a little, but not over powering, this wine may need more time in the cellar, however this isn't a French Bdx that can sit for 30 yrs. I would guess it will peak sooner rather then later.

Nose was nice with some deep dark notes of blackberry earthiness. Palate was TIGHT. Even after over an hour the wine did not open and a muted finish. Lots of layers but they did not open up.

This needs a little time to open up, still had the tannins to last a few more years but drinking well now.

Just the right amount of tension. Nice depth. I like it where it is now.
