Some 10 year olds ARE fun to hang out with - Enjoying 4th of 4 that I had in the cellar - Amazing. Benefitting from decanting This 2009 CMZ is an extraordinary blend of Carignane, Mourvèdre, Zinfandel, Cinsault, Petite Sirah by MattCline

This is a very complex and balanced wine with flavors of blackberry, plum and dark cherry. The color is deep and dark with great viscosity. The tannin is firm and dusty with a crisp and bright acidity. It is drinking wonderfully now. But, with several more years in a cool cellar it should blossom even more. Mathew Cline has created a gem of a blend from the great old vines of Contra Costa County and the stellar Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon vines.
