Light golden color. Fresh, youthful Chardonnay nose that reminds me of the Chardonnay I smelled and tasted from the fermenting tank of Corton-Charlemagne must at Domaine Bonneau du Martray when I visited a number of years ago — a sensory event one does not easily forget. This is a wine that is quite ungainly and unintegrated now, but will, given the track record of ageability of the Tulocay Haynes Chardonnays of the past, continue to evolve over the next 10 years or so. Buy now to salt away for future special events. (90 rating based on potential.)
