  On opening, had a very distinct "wet dog" smell on the nose. The flavor was very complex, dark red cherries, tobacco, a hint of licorice, and a nice lingering finish. However, hard to get over the initial wet dog.
  
  By the next day the wet dog smell had faded to a bland unremarkable bouquet. The flavor seemed to diminish a bit as well, not quite as complex.
  
  Overall, not as good as the first bottle for whatever reason.

  Very nice Priorat! Great nose, solid flavor, nice leather and blackberry, good lingering taste. Not the best-ever Priorat, but pretty good QPR.
