Rich sweet nose from an Auslese harvest. The taste is dense but elegant carried by the high acidity and freshness. Ripe apple and quince, slate, there are hints of petrol starting to join in. This Drinks beautiful but lots of juice left to go. Great German wine, but difficult to pair with food. This is a solo player.

Relatively dark yellow, probably due to the late harvest they practise at this estate. As for all Clemens Busch wines from the small "lieu dits" within the big Marienburg "Einsellage" this has a pronounced mineral character. In addition there is an intense citrus aroma. The taste is firm, concentrated and vigorous with a richness that reminds more of a Rhein wine than a Mosel. Anyway, very impressive!
