This had been lost in my cellar for some time, and I popped it open to see if it was still drinkable. In the glsss, it looked like oloroso! sherry, a clear tawny in colour, but appearances can be deceptive, and the nose still showed classic aromas of barley sugar, dark Oxford marmalade, honey, and hints of lime. On the palate , acidity is still medium -plus,balacing the luscious mouthfeel, with flavours of Seville orange marmalade, barley sugar , and lime cordial. A deliciously unctuous wine, with plenty of acidity, to make the mouth water. By no means over the hill, but would have been more refreshing and zingy 4-5 years ago.

Not as good as other bottles. Starts well with sweet fruit notes but goes a little watery/washy on the finish.

Yum. Very marmalade. a bit more acidity would have been better.
