  Joy to come back to this vintage after two years of highly aromatic elegant Sangiovese. It is aged in new and second use FR oak barrels for 20 months. Deep garnet colour. Highly aromatic, notes of dry cherries, sweet tobacco, chocolate, dry roses, incense, touch of dry herbs. Medium+ body, well structured and elegant with concentrated flavours of smoky cherries, tobacco, earthy and spice notes. Flavours are enveloped with lively acidity and tightly knit mouth coating fine tannins.

  Excellent, and really on point. Beautiful, rather darkish fruit. Still loads of acidity, and some tannic backbone. A delight to drink now but with potential for years to come.
