Decated 1 hour, big, intense, concentred, yet there is balance, big dark fruit, koolaid notes add complexity, subdle hints of white pepper, some meaty notes, firm acidity. Fine example of Aussie Shiraz, an obvious step up from the very-good Bill Randall. The Ron Thorn though ready to drink easily will last five to ten years more with proper storage.

Big big baby. Huge nose to match the ridiculously heavy bottle, tons of ripe plum wrapped in alcohol. Nice but still young. Decant for a few hours minimum

Matured for 20 months in oak and a further 12 in bottle before its release and carried all the way from Australia by Kutay Erbayat.
Inky black with a narrow rim hinting at its ruby colour. Even the first sniff reveals what a bold wine this is. Initial cacao and bitter chocolate aromas followed by tiers of blackberry, cherry and mulberry. Bold and fleshy with a firm texture, well extracted tannins and intense flavours of pounded berries and clear volatile notes. Still a baby.

Straightforward powerful Shiraz. The least favorite in the lineup for the group.
