  • I was traveling through Northern France and picked up this bottle and a few others at a wine shop in Dijon based on the shop keepers recommendation (I got some local Burgundy wine from the wineries, but wanted some from other regions as well).

The nose is non-descript. On the palette it presents maraschino cherries and dark red fruits. I'm not detecting any oak. Mouth feel is smooth. It has bright acidity and a medium finish. I'm not sure of the alcohol content, but it comes across a little hot and not as integrated as I prefer. However, I do believe I'm going back for a 2nd glass.
