  Nice balance of fruit and a touch of vanilla. A little too tight / dry at first, but opened up a bit as breathed. Would buy more.

  Chilled in fridge for 30m.
  Seems really young. The bouquet of mineral and lemon was off-putting and had a distinct ethanol odor.
  The wine looks inky colored and the legs are medium. Tastes like nutmeg, cinnamon and black pepper; but cloyingly so with some alcohol burn. Having medium body the texture is coarse, finishes medium and has medium acidity.
  Overall not terrible. As the drinking progressed, it got better - may need some decanting first, will let the next bottle age for a bit. Enjoyable enough; but seemed over-priced.
  NOTE:
  JUST read the lot18 review, said you should, " You might want to decant this or give it a year's rest in the bottle for all the flavors and textures to integrate." LOL, I really should have read that first! Oh well!
  Next day was better. Much smoother. Still not great, but, I like it now and have more confidence it will improve.
