Sadly, our last one. Still has several years left, but it is singing now. Fruit on the front and a medium length finish on the back. Smooth and delicious!

At a "Cabernet from around the world night" with my wine group, at a NYC Steakhouse. We had in order, 2010 Château Saint-Pierre, 2012 O'Shaughnessy Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain, 2013 Figgins Estate Red Wine, and the 2018 Montepeloso Gabbro Toscana IGT. All were opened, but not decanted for at least 45 minutes before pouring. 7 of us had the O'Shaughnessy as their favorite with one going with the Saint-Pierre. I think if all of us gave the wines numerical scores, everyone's numbers would have been between 96 and 91. An outstanding tasting! This was my favorite. We could have it with or without food. Long finish, dark color, full bodied. Normally around 10 years past the vintage, I prefer O'Shaughnessy's Mt. Veeder to their Howell Mountain. But this bottle was amazing and I can't imagine the Mt. Veeder being better than this, at this age point. I might even be shorting this a point!

A little bit "flat". Not a bad bottle; not corked. Decanted and drank over three hours. Never really rose to the potential I was expecting, based on drinking multiple other vintages from O'S on HM. Won't shy away from this in the future in hopes I had a bottle that was simply "off".

PnP and drank over several hours. Medium bodied, well balanced with lots and dark lush fruit, soft tannins.
