  • WSET Level 4 Course - WSET School; 9/6/2014-5/23/2015 (WSET School, Bermondsey): Appearance: The wine is Clear with a Deep ruby colour.
    Nose: The nose is Clean and Developing, showing Medium intensity primary aromas of red cherry, red plum, black cherry, black pepper ; secondary aromas of Smoke, sweet spice and tertiary aromas of mushroom, leather.
    Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a High level of acidity. It has Medium Ripe/Soft tannins and a Medium(+) Level of alcohol (13.50%). It has Medium body and Medium(+) intensity primary flavours of red cherry, red plum, black cherry, black pepper ; secondary flavours of Smoke, sweet spice and tertiary flavours of mushroom, leather. The finish is Medium. Ripe fine tannins
    Overall: Reasonable length and intensity. Some complexity.
    Conclusion: It is a Good quality wine. Can Drink Now but has Potential for Ageing; Premium priced (£22.99)

  • Med+ on the nose, notes of sour cherry, chery, cranberry, red fruits . kirsch, violet, clove, raisin and prune. palate is dry, med acid, med tannin, med+ body, med+ alc - notes of cherry, cranberry, raspberry, kirsch, morello cherry, clove, raisin, prune.
    Very good wine.
