  • The most famously mediocre vintage of this tasting. Actually surprisingly soft and enticing aroma of figs, carob and liquorice. Interesting! Less balanced on the palate, and the first one to show tannin. But decent structure and surprisingly vigorous for a wine that should probably be dead by now. Good work in a challenging year! Slightly bitter aftertaste - makes this wine a bit unbalanced.

  • Dinner in Girona at Restaurant Boira. The nose shows black fruit, tobacco, coffee and somewhat floral aromatics. The palate is chewy and fresh with nice acidity. This is very approachable and a bit rustic, a good value at 19 euro in a restaurant.
