50/20/20/10 Grenache/Carignan/Cabernet/Syrah. Medium nose shows game, peppercorn, dried raspberry, black plum, forest floor. Palate matches with bold structure supporting fruit of black plum, dried raspberry, some nice aged notes of forest floor, roasted peppers, fresh turned earth or potting soil, more black fruits in the finish. Medium plus tannins dry things out, feels like a very good meat pairing or rib roast, etc.. Nice QPR.

Much more interesting than the Lewis Cellars. Dark fruit. Game. Savory. Lots of layers.

Such a delicate finish but very big in style with Samsó, Syrah and Cab. Elegant with ripe fruit and dry cherry and currant. Did not decant.
