Yeasty nose with red apple skin, almond paste and a bit of toast. Long finish. A revelation about what Washington can produce in sparkling wine--impressive.

Vibrant, fresh aromas with some mineral driven notes. Quite pretty. Tons of vibrant intensity on palate entry, showing lovely fruit and tons of smooth palate texture. Tremendous body. Strawberry flavors, and in the mouth this feels pretty light on its feet. Tart red fruit on the finish, soft melon, and then it dials into explosive acid and green apple skin. Soft and creamy notions linger on the palate despite the cutting acid. Very bright and quite nice. Indeed, one of the finest Oregon sparkling wines to date. Better than most Champagne for the price.
Crisp citrus notes dominate this Nw sparkler, not a big full wine. Sharp, mineral and interesting best describe this wine. It reflects the bracing terroir of the Columbia Gorge. Will definitely buy again.
