  Fully mature nose. Honey, nuts, coffee. Sightly oxidized, from age, not premox.
  Fullish palate. Nutty, roasted, dried apricots, honey and gun-powder minerality. Very mature, full and austere. Probably better 3 yrs ago.

  Transparent green apple on the eye. We have noticed all the Olivier Leflaive 2011s pretty much present the same way...no complaint as very inviting, but interesting. Memories of aromas of everything "human" wafting through the morning air while we are jogging through the streets of Bangkok alongside the Klongs (small streams) with subtle hints of mushrooms on toast slathered with vanilla-cream. A most perfect, white Burgundy brekkie! Palate of subtle, citrus-oak, with a creamy vanilla finish and a touch of tantalising tanginess. The more we sip of Olivier Leflaive, the more we want to propose marriage to the owners, winemakers and everyone responsible for the stunners they produce at reasonable prices. Wow!!!
